A Little More

Tim is a leadership and personal coach with more than 15 years of experience facilitating change with individuals, teams, and organizations.  He works with senior leaders, freelancers, adventurers, and ‘leaders within’ from government, foreign affairs, performing arts, and non-profit. He specializes in leadership development and conflict resolution, which is strongly informed by years of experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Tim has worked with leaders to claim their leadership voice and story, to build stronger relationships, and to accomplish their wildest goals.  He has supported leaders in navigating their most difficult and complex challenges.

In 2021, he took a sabbatical and set out from Washington D.C. on bicycle, riding over 4,000 miles through 10 states with (a few too many) storms along the immersive leadership journey.  Following the TransAmerica Bike Trail (established in 1976 for the Bicentennial), Tim carried minimal gear through rural, urban, and wilderness settings.

As a youth, he was trained in peer mediation and conflict resolution, giving up a precious childhood summer.  It changed his life.  Since then, he has practiced focused skills (coaching, mediating, facilitating) and honed methods in practical application to empower people in building stronger relationships, teams, and organizations.

Tim is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a trained Conflict Coach.  He has worked internally at large international agencies as a coach, mentor mediator, facilitator, leadership development specialist, organization development (OD) practitioner, and ombuds.  He rounds out his professional experience by bike touring, performing improv comedy, and singing opera.
